Round Tapered Hinged Aluminum Poles

Pole Shaft Specifications

The pole is spin-tapered from fresh seamless 6063 alloy aluminum tubing, heat-treated to achieve a T6 temper, and elegantly cone-tapered to the butt diameter. Each pole features a 6″-long straight section at the top, which can be drilled according to the luminaire manufacturer’s mounting specifications. Additionally, a standard aluminum tenon may be provided.

Hinged Base Casting

Forged from A356 alloy aluminum, the anchor base undergoes heat treatment to achieve a T6 condition before being inserted into the anchor base casting. The two components are seamlessly connected by a continuous circumferential weld at the outside top and inside bottom of the anchor base. Additionally, a hinge pin is incorporated into the base, enabling the lowering of the pole for luminaire maintenance.
